Aviemore is a resort town in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands with ski slopes at CairnGorm Mountain and year-round outdoor activities. The town serves as the main gateway to the Cairngorms and lies on the Strathspey steam railway between Boat of Garten and Broomhill.
