National Trust managed (Brancaster Estate, not a council PSPO). Fenced dog-free zone at eastern end of beach (to the right of main entrance) May to September, protecting ground-nesting birds. Disturbing nesting birds is a criminal offence. Rest of beach open to dogs year-round under close control. Dogs on short leads near livestock and ground-nesting birds.
