Year-round zoned restrictions with two separate exclusion areas. SUMMER (1 May - 30 Sep): dogs excluded from promenade area west of Salterns Road car park to Gosport borough boundary. WINTER (1 Oct - 31 Mar): dogs excluded from western beach between Hill Head Sailing Club and end of beach huts (bird protection for Dunlin, Dark-bellied Brent Geese, Sanderling). Dog walkers can use walkway in front of beach huts and other beach sections year-round.
