Zoned seasonal dog exclusion on part of Newbiggin Bay beach, 1 May-30 September, under Northumberland County Council's Dog Control PSPO (in place since 2011). Public/town notices describe the zone as breakwater at Church Point to beach access from the promenade at Sidney Crescent. Rest of the bay unrestricted year-round.
