Dogs are excluded from the beach from the point level with Pier Avenue westwards to The Street, from 1 May to 30 September inclusive. On the promenade along this section, keep your dog on a lead no longer than two metres throughout the year. The council order includes exemptions; check its wording and local notices before visiting.
