About this walk
A short, atmospheric loop through Barcaldine Forest managed by Forestry and Land Scotland, following the gorge of the Abhainn Teithilburn past tall Douglas firs planted in 1870 and native oak and Scots pine. The path passes waterfalls and sculpted rock formations, with buggies reported manageable on the main route. There's a car park and picnic area at the start, just off the A828 between Oban and Fort William.
