About this walk
Gwydir Forest Park is a large network of Natural Resources Wales woodland trails around Betws-y-Coed, mixing forest tracks, riverside paths, open moorland fringes and old mining relics. Marked routes range from short strolls to a 4-mile-plus circuit taking in reservoirs and viewpoints. Dogs are welcome under close control on the multi-use trails shared with cyclists and horse riders, and should go on a lead near the grazing sheep found on the forest's open ground.
