Bosley Locks Flight, Macclesfield Canal

A there-and-back stroll along the twelve-lock Bosley staircase on the Macclesfield Canal, one of the most scenic lock flights on the northern canal network. The Cloud rises directly above the towpath, and the walk from Bosley to Oakgrove is level, quiet and typically shared only with the occasional narrowboater and other dog walkers.
