About this walk
A wildlife-rich tidal waterway walk following the Avon New Cut between Temple Meads and Cumberland Basin, sandwiched between Coronation Road and Cumberland/Commercial Road. Designated a Local Nature Reserve, the path (including the well-known 'Chocolate Path') passes saltmarsh, scrub and woodland habitats supporting unusual urban wildlife, with the Create Centre and Butterfly Junction along the route.
