About this walk
Ancient woodland on the west side of the Avon Gorge, close to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, jointly managed by the National Trust and Forestry England. An extensive network of surfaced and unsurfaced paths winds through veteran trees, with some steep, muddy sections nearer the gorge. Dogs must stay on a lead throughout, and a dog waste bin is provided at the North Road entrance.
