Clent Hills: Walton Hill and Four Stones Walk

The Clent Hills are a 240-acre National Trust hillside in Worcestershire south-west of Birmingham, rising to 315 metres at Walton Hill. The 7.5km Walton Hill and Four Stones Walk from the Nimmings car park climbs to the summit, visits the Four Stones folly on the adjacent ridge, descends through the mixed woodland on the north-east slope and returns via the open grazed hillside. The Four Stones are an 18th-century folly erected by Lord Lyttelton. Dogs are welcome off lead on the open hillside sections and on the woodland paths. Livestock grazing is present on the lower slopes; close control near sheep and cattle is required throughout. The National Trust cafe at the Nimmings car park is dog-friendly outside.
