About this walk
Pensthorpe sits in the Wensum valley and combines restored gravel-pit lakes, wildflower meadows, Piet Oudolf-designed gardens and riverside woodland into a family-friendly nature park. Only the outer WildRootz woodland trail is open to dogs, but it is a proper 90-minute walk in its own right, with birdsong and a good chance of seeing kingfishers on the river.
