About this walk
Foxley Wood is Norfolk's largest surviving ancient woodland, an 800-year-old coppice of oak, ash and hazel managed by Norfolk Wildlife Trust. A single waymarked circuit winds through carpets of bluebells and early purple orchids in spring, with quiet rides that feel a long way from anywhere. Access is closed on Thursdays for conservation work.
