A short, sharp climb up the gentle grassy shoulder of Latrigg delivers one of the most rewarding panoramas in the Lake District, with Derwentwater, Skiddaw and the Newlands fells laid out below. The main path from Gale Road car park is broad and well-graded, making it manageable for most dogs and their humans in an hour or two.
