About this walk
The Royal Estate opens 600 acres of woodland and heath as a free-to-enter country park, with two colour-coded waymarked walking trails threading through Scots pine, sweet chestnut and rhododendron. Wide, level tracks make it easy going for older dogs, and there are open glades and small lakes to break up the woodland cover.
