About this walk
A gentle circular boardwalk across one of the largest lowland raised bogs in Britain, managed by NatureScot as a National Nature Reserve. The flat, firm gravel-and-boardwalk trail leads to a viewing tower with panoramic views over the Trossachs. Boggy surroundings host rare dragonflies, adders and cranberry, but the path itself stays dry underfoot except when the boardwalk is wet and slippery.
