About this walk
This dramatic old railway line climbs through Glen Ogle beneath the striking Glen Ogle Viaduct, following the route of the former Callander and Oban Railway, now part of National Cycle Route 7 and the Rob Roy Way. The well-surfaced former trackbed makes an easy out-and-back walk with sweeping views down the glen, or can be extended into a longer, boggier circuit back via the old Military Road for more experienced walkers. Start from the car park at Lochearnhead on the A85.
