About this walk
An easy, level, all-abilities circular trail through a mature arboretum of tall conifers and broadleaves near Lyndhurst. The gravelled path has one gentle slope and a low soft-catch gate at the narrowest point. Dogs are welcome but should stay close and on a lead around the free-roaming New Forest ponies, cattle and pigs, especially during pannage season (autumn) when fallen acorns are toxic to dogs.
