About this walk
A there-and-back through the wooded Exmoor gorge from Lynmouth harbour up the East Lyn river to Watersmeet, where the East Lyn and Hoar Oak Water meet in a tumble of cascades beside the National Trust tea garden. Ancient sessile oaks, ferns and rushing pools make this one of Exmoor's finest inland walks.
