National Trust Malham Tarn Estate is a working upland farm and nature reserve above Malham, with tracks and lakeshore paths around England's highest lime-rich lake. Dogs are welcome across most of the estate but must stay on a lead at all times due to grazing livestock and ground-nesting birds, and are excluded from the National Nature Reserve boardwalk except assistance dogs. Paid parking is available at nearby Watersinks, Quarry or Waterhouses car parks.
