About this walk
Tucked inside Thetford Forest, Lynford Arboretum holds more than 200 species of trees around an ornamental lake and paddocks, planted from the 1940s onwards. A gentle loop takes in the lake, the Church Path through mature specimens and links out into the surrounding forest, making it a good all-weather walk with excellent birdlife including hawfinches in winter.
