Mousehold Heath is 184 acres of heath and woodland on the north-east edge of Norwich, a rare surviving fragment of the vast heath that once stretched across the city's hinterland. A network of unmarked tracks winds through oak, birch and gorse, with open views south over the city and small ponds tucked into the folds of the land.
