Shotover Country Park is a 117-hectare Site of Special Scientific Interest on the edge of Oxford, with three graded trails from a gentle 30-minute red loop up to a 2-hour green route across the hill's varied woodland and heath. Dog walking is a listed permitted activity, with free parking off Old Road. Some sections share bridleways with horse riders and cyclists, so keep dogs under control around other trail users and livestock.
