The wooded glacial valley of the Gwaun is one of Pembrokeshire's best-kept secrets, a lush oak and hazel corridor cutting east from Fishguard with a fast, clear river running through it. Waymarked walks start from the Sychpant picnic site and climb through bluebells and wood anemones in spring.
