About this walk
A grassy, wooded ridge split by old railway cuttings on the northern edge of inner-city Bristol, in St Werburghs. Designated a Millennium Green in 2000 and a Local Nature Reserve in 2016, it offers panoramic views over the city alongside a community orchard, scrub, hedgerows, wildflower meadow and woodland. Paths are unsurfaced and include steep sections, so it is better suited to sturdier boots and paws than buggies. Free to enter and open at all times, it is managed by the volunteer-run Narroways Millennium Green Trust.
