About this walk
Pressmennan Wood is a Woodland Trust site near Stenton in the Lammermuir foothills, built around Pressmennan Lake, East Lothian's only inland loch. A network of forest roads and paths (around 6.5km in total) loops through mixed woodland with a surfaced route linking the east and west entrances, a circular sculpture trail, and a path up Gallows Law to a viewpoint over the loch. Free on-site parking (space for around eight cars) makes it an easy stop for a longer countryside outing.
