About this walk
A short but steep climb through Forestry and Land Scotland woodland to the rocky, pointed summit of Ben A'an, the 'mountain in miniature' of the Trossachs. The reward is one of the finest panoramic views in the Trossachs, taking in Loch Katrine, Loch Achray and the Arrochar Alps. Popular and can get busy, with a well-maintained but steep and sometimes rocky path.
