About this walk

Wayland Wood is a Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve reputed to be the setting of the Babes in the Wood folk tale, and one of the finest ancient coppice woodlands in East Anglia. A single waymarked route loops through hazel and oak coppice carpeted with bluebells, wood anemones and early purple orchids in spring, with a real sense of stepping back in time.
