About this walk
One of the largest lowland raised bogs in Britain, straddling the Shropshire-Wrexham border near Whitchurch. A network of flat, mostly firm tracks and boardwalks crosses the peat moss, with distinctive bog vegetation, dragonflies and wide open skies. Former peat railway lines now form easy walking and cycling routes.
