About this walk
An ancient semi-natural woodland Site of Special Scientific Interest on the western edge of Winchester, managed by Hampshire County Council. Wide rides carpeted with bluebells and wild garlic in spring open into hazel coppice, and it is one of the quieter woods within striking distance of the city.
