Betteshanger Park
Betteshanger Park in Deal welcomes dogs but requires them to be kept on a lead at all times across the whole site. It is a reclaimed former colliery with woodland, lake and grassland trails, part-surfaced and part-grass, with paid parking and dog waste bins.
Hole Park Gardens
Dogs on leads are welcome at Hole Park Gardens near Rolvenden and Sissinghurst, across its 16 acres of gardens and 10 acres of woodland walks, per the estate's visitor information. The site is seasonal, open April to October.
Hamstreet Woods National Nature Reserve
Ham Street (Hamstreet) Woods National Nature Reserve near Wye is popular with dog walkers and provides waste bins, though Natural England has not published a specific on/off-lead policy online; horses also use the bridleways, so close control is advised.
Sandwich & Pegwell Bay - Kent Wildlife Trust
Dogs are allowed at the Kent Wildlife Trust's Sandwich and Pegwell Bay reserve, with off-lead sections under control near Sandwich Bay's car park, on-lead zones near grazing livestock, and year-round exclusion from mudflats and saltmarsh, per Kent Wildlife Trust. Adjacent to, but distinct from, the smaller Pegwell Bay Country Park.
