Fowey sits on one of Cornwall's prettiest estuaries, and it is unusually generous to dogs. The local restriction window is short: Readymoney Cove, the town's own beach, only restricts dogs during July and August, and spectacular Lantic Bay just around the headland welcomes dogs all year. Par Sands, ten minutes away, is another year-round option when you want flat sand rather than a cove.
