Alexandra Palace Park covers 196 acres of parkland, woodland and ornamental gardens on a prominent ridge in north London. The 4.2km circular starts from the West Gate car park, climbs through the terraced gardens to the palace terrace for panoramic views across London, descends through Duke's Avenue tree-lined walk and loops back through the park's lower meadow. Dogs are welcome off lead in the park's open areas outside formal garden zones.
