About this walk
Barnes Common is a 120-acre ancient common and woodland in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. This 5.5km circular uses the main tracks through the common's woodland and open heath sections, follows the river path to the boundary of the WWT London Wetland Centre at Barnes and returns via Barnes village. Dogs are off lead throughout Barnes Common. Dogs are not permitted inside the WWT London Wetland Centre grounds. The Sun Inn in Barnes village is dog-friendly in the garden.
