About this walk
A wonderful circular in the quiet Duddon Valley, described by Wordsworth as his favourite river. Follows the Duddon through oakwood into the drama of Wallowbarrow Gorge, crosses at the packhorse bridge and returns along the far bank. Stepping stones make it interesting for dogs after rain.
