About this walk

Canons Park is a 46-acre public park in Edgware, Harrow, on the site of the Duke of Chandos's early 18th-century country estate, with formal gardens, a rose garden, an ornamental lake and mature woodland sections. The 4km Edgware Brook Circular starts from the main park entrance on Whitchurch Lane, circuits the ornamental lake, passes through the formal garden area and then follows the Edgware Brook through the parkland corridor north of the main site before returning through the rose garden. The brook has gentle grassy banks where dogs can access the water. Dogs are welcome off lead in the park's open grassland and woodland areas throughout the year.
