About this walk
A quietly excellent local country park on the northern edge of Chester, made up of wildflower meadow, new plantation woodland and a chain of small ponds. Paths are mostly surfaced and gently graded, making it a good option for older dogs or a wet-weather walk when the sandstone hills feel like too much. A pleasant loop of around 2.5 miles takes in most of the site.
