A former colliery site reclaimed as a large country park with a lake, woodland and open grassland on part-surfaced, part-grass paths. Dogs must stay on a lead throughout, as required by park rules, and owners should watch for uneven ground, old metal and holes from the site's coal-spoil history. Waste bins are provided. Popular for its Adventure Play area and seasonal events.
