About this walk
One of Cardiff's largest open spaces, Trelai Park combines extensive playing fields with a Roman villa scheduled monument at its centre. Footpaths link through a subway to Leckwith Woods, and onward to the Ely Trail, which follows the River Ely towards St Fagans - a good option for a longer, quieter walk away from the city centre.
