About this walk

Designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, Kelvingrove Park follows the winding River Kelvin through Glasgow's West End, with 85 acres of sloping lawns, mature trees and riverside paths. Dogs are welcome throughout, though the busy play areas, bowling greens and tennis courts call for a lead nearby. Quieter riverside stretches away from the museum end offer decent off-lead exercise for confident, well-recalled dogs. Parking is limited to on-street bays around the park.
