About this walk
A large Forestry England site combining the National Pinetum's collection of conifers with extensive working forest, cycle trails and a lake. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the car park, the National Pinetum itself and the play areas, but well-behaved dogs may roam off lead in the wider forest, away from mountain bike singletrack. Paid parking applies, and litter bins are only near the visitor centre.
