About this walk

A small ancient woodland reserve at the top of Llanfairfechan, on the edge of the Carneddau, following the Afon Ddu stream past a wildlife pond and through oak woodland. The terrain is uneven, rough and steep in places with two flights of steps, so it's a walking-boots rather than pushchair route, but it rewards with genuinely wild riverside scenery close to the village.
