About this walk
A much-loved beauty spot on the edge of Louth, where the River Lud runs through a steep-sided chalk valley of grassy slopes and mature trees. Gifted to the town in 1907, it offers gentle valley-floor paths as well as steeper routes up onto the surrounding hillsides, with plenty of open space for dogs.
