About this walk

A reclaimed sand and gravel quarry turned nature park just southwest of Lincoln, with a network of six waymarked trails between 1.2 and 3 miles winding past a series of flooded pits and lakes. Level, mostly hard-surfaced paths make it accessible for most abilities, and the site is a magnet for waterfowl, dragonflies and woodland birds year-round.
