About this walk
A gently rolling circuit of the wooded Lymm Dam, an 1820s reservoir built to serve the Bridgewater Canal and now the centrepiece of Lymm's local countryside. The wide track around the water goes through beech, oak and rhododendron woodland, with side spurs onto the dam itself. It is one of the most popular dog walks in mid-Cheshire, and for good reason.
