About this walk
A gentle out-and-back along the Shroppie towpath heading south from Nantwich Basin. The route crosses the elegant cast-iron Nantwich Aqueduct with views over the Weaver valley, passes moored narrowboats and traditional locks, and can be linked with the river meadows of Mill Island.
