About this walk

This South Downs walk near Petworth takes in Petworth Park's ancient deer park, rolling parkland and woodland within the wider South Downs National Park. Dogs must stay on a short lead in the formal Pleasure Garden, but can roam off lead under close control in the open Deer Park, home to a large fallow deer herd. Extra care and a lead are needed during the June to July fawning season.
