The combined 4.8km route links both woods via the footpath running along Muswell Hill Road, exploring Queen's Wood's steeper, wilder character before crossing into the more formally managed Highgate Wood. Dogs are welcome off lead in Queen's Wood throughout. Highgate Wood requires leads in some sections due to wildlife management.
