About this walk
A Butterfly Conservation reserve on a limestone hilltop south of Ruthin, reached via an old railway line through woodland before a moderately steep climb to the reserve. The site is an SSSI known for its limestone pavement, with narrow crevices and unfenced cliff edges on the western side, so care is needed with dogs off lead near the drops.
