Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is a flat, shingle and saltmarsh landscape on the East Sussex coast, rich in birdlife and managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust. Dogs can be let off lead under close control across much of the reserve but must be kept on a lead on the tidal path between the village and the river mouth, and near grazing livestock. Free parking is available in Rye Harbour village.
